In Sydney, Australia I attended the Julian Ashton Art School, the oldest art school in Australia. It was after this creative pursuit that I set a course for study in watercolor. My recent works are, again, the results of workshops, classes and my solo attempts using instructional books and videos. I enjoy the completely absorbing, meditative quality of botanical painting. It is an antidote for me to the busy, noisy world we all live in; studying, growing, drawing and painting nourishes my soul.
